Mike Bruszer PT, DPT is a Doctor of Physical Therapy with 9 yrs of outpatient orthopedic experience. Mike earned his Bachelor of Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago while on a scholarship to play baseball. He later completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois of Chicago in 2014.

He enjoys working with orthopedic and sports populations across all age ranges, and prefers a whole body, hands-on manual approach using innovative techniques. He has certifications in Graston and Dry Needling. He believes that manual therapy and exercise play a vital role in the rehab process, while making sure to incorporate patient collaborated care plans.

As a previous collegiate baseball player, he has a strong interest in return to sport rehab with overall injury prevention. Experiences on and off the field taught him the importance of self-discipline and perseverance in achieving goals and rehabilitation. He stresses patient education from day one so that his patients may gain a deeper understanding of how their body works and ultimately develop the self-management techniques necessary for avoiding re-injury.
